Not proud of SA's attitude to the disabled
S Schumann: The St Giles Association for the Physically Disabled, like so many charitable institutions, is being left in a financial bind by the government and big business, as reported in "Lack of funds put strain on facility for the disabled" (June 20).
This is a disgrace. Surely a financial programme could be set up out of Fifa's gains, for example? It seems the poor and the disabled are not recognised by people who could make a useful contribution.
