Sue Richardson, Johannesburg: Khaya Ngqula, the former SAA boss, is only one of the "higher-ups" fingered recently for being economical with the truth about spending. Why, then, should it be a prerequisite for Joe Citizen to be honest in business dealings?
As it is, the very few who do pay tax seem to get nothing for their contributions, which are randomly and freely re-distributed instead of being used correctly.
Wouldn't it be simpler to make all payments to Luthuli House direct?
