Posters are past it
Hilary White, by e-mai: lIsn't it time the Fifa posters welcoming everyone to the World Cup were taken down?
I pass several posters daily that are still on street lights.
I came back to the country one month after the Cup had ended to be welcomed by posters from Fifa all over OR Tambo International Airport, and a football in the arrivals hall - I am not sure if those have been removed, but they should be gone by now.
However, I hope the flags outside OR Tambo stay. They are really good to see, and how proud one feels driving through an archway of flags. This is a wonderful sight for tourists, but maybe more world flags should be included, not only those of World Cup teams.
