Abba Flint, Randhart: All law-abiding citizens should be appalled at the moronic support for PigSpotter.
Speeding has been proved to be a major cause of road deaths.
Until the mindless mindset of warning law-breaking road hogs of speed traps and road blocks changes, we will continue to suffer in excess of 16000 road fatalities a year.
Quoted recently on radio, Johannesburg Metro Police operations director David Tembe encouraged the madness by saying that his department was in favour of the flashing light warnings to the (law-breaking speed hogs) as he claimed it performed the function of slowing the traffic.
