Nationalisation past sell-by date
Vuyisa Qabaka:On rare occasions I find myself agreeing with Mondli Makhanya. In "Will the vaunted 'generational mix' transform our political landscape?" (October 3), I found myself nodding with every sentence.
Like the "kindergarten brigade", as Makhanya likes to call the ANCYL, Makhanya himself sometimes says things "that have some merit" and with this piece he got it right.
In addition to Makhanya's thinking, I would advise the ANCYL and its alumni to consider supporting "entrepreneurship" (a global trend) and move away from notions of "nationalisation", which are way past their sell-by date. -
