ANC Youth League president Julius Malema feels his human rights are being undermined by media leaks from the police, SABC reported.

The broadcaster said Malema was considering approaching the public protector and the Human Rights Commission.

In an interview, Malema said he was concerned at "persistent leakages" from an unnamed source within the Hawks crime-fighting unit.

"There can't be leakages in an institution like the Hawks. It means people working there are not loyal to the internal processes," Malema said.

News reports have suggested that Malema would be charged upon his return from a friend's multimillion-rand wedding in Mauritius. The Sunday Independent reported that the Hawks had prima facie evidence of corruption related to the awarding of tenders to firms Malema had an interest in.

The reports said Malema would be arrested and brought before a court to answer allegations of fraud, corruption and money laundering.

On Monday, league spokesman Floyd Shivambu said there had never been any communication between Malema and the Hawks.

Mr Malema, this is humbug rhetoric. Surely you gave consideration to possible consequences before embarking on the behaviour which has given rise to these investigations. Deal with it like the big man you are please.

Your claim to fame boytjie is that you are a public figure - so if there is a sniff of anything going on it will be found, and it will be broadcast. Yet if one day goes by when you are not mentioned you get sulky - oh yes that's right you only want the media to report what a wonderful person you are and about all the good things you have done for the poor disadvantaged. You actually are a Media junkie - as you want your name and deeds mentioned all the time. If you are so upset about the Hawks then there is definitely something about the rumor of your imminent arrest - about time!

I agree with Julius, just get on with it, so he can be carried shoulder high , like Yengeni, into jail.

Fake is quite an understatement - Marching for economic freedom for the poor and a few hours later jet-setting off to Mauritius to a party for the super-rich is a clear indication of the mind of a psychopath and no one in his right mind will ever believe that his march was for his ''noble'' intentions !

This action by malema effectively cancelled the effort of his so-called economic freedom march !

"""""""20th-century American social critic and humorist H. L. Mencken, defined a demagogue as "one who will preach doctrines he knows to be untrue to men he knows to be idiots."""""

Malema is a demagogue of note, but not the only one.....Zuma as well to promess jobs right, centre and left...but for his cronies and family only.....

Mbeki another demagogue to promess Zimbabwe will improve with quiet diplomacy.......

The situation of poverty and third world dictatorships justify the appearance of Malemas, Zumas. Mbekis, etc. Should they have not existed, there would be Shivambus, Mantashes, Vavis, Cronins, etc, etc. to take their places.....

Being a public figure as large(figuritivley speaking of course!) as Malema, crying foul eveytime their is an unfavourable media report won't ellicit any sympathy. It's the price you pay for being in the spotlight,if anything Mbalula should be the one upset about his 'media leak'.Being caught with his pants down (literally).

The Sunday Independent and all other propaganda media can leak more info let us see if any case will be brought against Juju if all the facts that they claim to have are no longer admisable in courts.

Juju is a private person and also it does not matter that he can march for two days then go on a wedding I think we all have been to a funeral and a wedding in one weekend so nothing stops him from living his luxuries life after marching with the poor he is a man that shows there is life after work.........lol......hehehehehehehehe
