Juju says ANC scared of change

JULIUS Malema has accused the ANC old guard of trying to shut him up because his views are more popular than theirs.

In an exclusive article in today's Sunday World, the suspended youth league president said the action against him by the ANC national disciplinary committee showed that the party's "culture of tolerance and calculated patience is being put to the test".

Malema said that instead of going to the disciplinary committee, President Jacob Zuma and other senior party leaders should have sought political engagement with the league.

"The ANCYL believes various factors contributed to the manner in which the ANC handled the disciplinary case. Among these is the fear of change, which is characteristic of not only older generations in the ANC, but older people across political parties who choose to conserve truths of the past," he said.

"The league is at the forefront of challenging the status quo with regard to South Africa's economy, particularly as it relates to who owns and controls the economy ...

"Any voice that contradicts the status quo is vulgarised, banished and treated with disdain," Malema said.

"This has defined how the media relates to the league leadership and, to a certain extent, influenced the leadership of the ANC and government into believing the league is a problem."

Malema said his popularity, as well as the youth league's high profile, made some ANC and government leaders feel overshadowed.

"This has led to some in leadership feeling they are being outshone by the league on critical policy issues ...

"As a way of trying to shift the spotlight on critical policy issues, a suspension is unleashed on the youth league leadership."

This is the first thing that Juju has said that I agree with. The ANC is running scared. Everything is coming crashing down around them and they are turning to Apartheied type antics and strategies to defend themselves because they don't know any better. Hence the media ban, the expose' on the arms deal, looks like Mac has been impleicated, Tokyo is running scared and who the hell the next leader is going to be is anyone's guess. Perhaps someone should consult a sangoma.

At a first glance it does seem as if Juju is for once making sense. The thing is that if by 'change' he is referring to revolution a la Cuba or Russia 1917, to shooting the boer, stealing the cheese from your fridge, nationalisation (this is the codename for plundering with impunity directly leading to bankruptcy), expropriation without compensation and dispossessing the minorities - many others outside the ANC would be scared too. And rightly so.

Why is everyone silent about Mac's recent appointment - JGZ 783 employed the man . Should JGZ 783 not be standing down . Of course not , silly me - that skin is so thick even the aids bug cannot penetrate .

I984 - on the subject of cheese - some cheeky bugger on these threads reminded us recently that the only free cheese is found in a mouse trap

The ANC has betrayed the poor and oppressed masses. The new South Africa is nothing but a black adminstered whiter racist apartheid state.

The old ANC cadres are corrupt to the core, from Nelson Mandela to Jacob Zuma. They are enriching themselves by serving big big corporates.

99% of farmland today is owned by white people. What kind of liberation is this. Jews have bought over property from the apartheid state for R10 a unit when non whites were forced out of their properties and yet Nelson Mandela and his crony ANC cadres have agreed to a 'property rights clause' where jews are protected and can hold on this stolen property.

Nelson Mandela's old bush ANC cadres have sold out to the white racist oppressors. It's time for regime change in South Africa.

It's time that the masses rise up against corrupt thives in the ANC. It's time for a change.

...sohuu, your interpretation of 'change', dunno-whonaidwho, is placing farmland into Black hands, right?

Then you naturally also stand for a 24/7, 365 day a year Ramadan fasting session for the rest of your life ...right?

I can already smell the sh!t through your ribcage...

96% of previous-prosperous White farm-land given to Black farmers are unproductive today!!!

No, YOU brought out the race card, not me!

If Julius is so very fond of change then why is he (and the ANC) trying desperately to take us all back to 1989?
