Provincial chairman Lebogang Maile said the league would provide more information on the hearing later on Tuesday.

"This is an internal matter and we cannot comment. We will release a statement later on," he said.

Kasa-Ntsobi said she would appear before the league's disciplinary committee on Tuesday morning.

"This will be the first appearance, and afterwards we will be in a better position to explain why this is happening," she said.

Kasa-Ntsobi was suspended from the league on May 13.

"What I can say is that my suspension was a decision taken by the PEC (provincial executive committee), which I am a part of and whose decisions I respect," she said.

"I will humble myself, and show that no one can be unaccountable, even the provincial secretary of the ANC Youth League."
