Magashule re-elected Free State ANC leader
Free State ANC chairman Ace Magashule was re-elected to the position at the party's provincial elective conference in Parys on Friday night.
Free State deputy chairman Thabo Manyoni and deputy secretary Mamiki Qabathe were also re-elected unopposed to the top five leadership positions in the Free State ANC.
Two new members elected were provincial secretary William Bulwana and provincial treasurer Mosebenzi Zwane.
Bulwana is the Free State ANC's spokesman, while Zwane is Free State agriculture MEC.
There was only one nomination in every post of the top five. No nominations were made from the floor.
Zwane replaces Mxolisi Dukwane, former economic affairs MEC in the Free State government.
Bulwana replaces Sibongile Besani as provincial secretary.
The rest of the provincial leadership would be elected on Saturday.
