MPs intervene after stun grenades are used against striking parliamentary workers

Stun grenades were used in Parliament today‚ for the second time in a month‚ as police tried to disperse striking National Education‚ Health and Allied Workers’ Union (Nehawu) workers. Several stun grenades were used to disperse workers who had gathered on the steps of Parliament's National Council of Provinces (NCOP) building after having disrupted several committees.
