Pikitup strike is over: Gauteng MEC Jacob Mamabolo

An agreement between the government and the South African Municipal Workers Union has been reached marking the end of the strike. The Gauteng government and the South African Municipal Workers Union (Samwu) will today sign agreement marking the end of the strike which has left the City of Johannesburg in state of dirt and uncollected waste and garbage‚ the provincial government says.
