I know about Kardashians because my wife controls the remote: Malema

Economic Freedom Fighters commander in chief has told an interviewer that when it comes to television - his wife is in charge of the remote.

According to the EFF's twitter feed, Malema was speaking to Heart FM 104.9 when he told them about who rules the remote in his household, revealing a more personal side to the firebrand leader.

Malema: I watch everything (on TV) that my wife watches because she control the remote. Now I know all the characters.

Malema also pointed out his grades in woodwork weren't exactly great, because he had no interest in becoming a carpenter.

He also spoke of his relationship with President Jacob Zuma, or the lack thereof. Apparently when Kgalema Petrus Motlanthe was president he nurtured the Cosas leadership, whereas Zuma was a more distant figure.

Malema: I never had any personal relationship with President Zuma. I’ve probably only been to his house three times.
