Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa board chairman Popo Molefe says the “tide” against maladministration and corruption in Prasa “cannot be turned”. The board was concerned by the issues raised in reports by the auditor general and the public protector‚ and would co-operate with the various investigations‚ including that of the transport department and the treasury‚ it said in a statement on Friday.Further‚ management has been instructed by the board deal with issues such as wasteful expenditure and irregularities by taking steps to suspend irregular contracts and to review all payments of more than R 10 million from 01 April 2014...
