Port Elizabeth residents are “being forced to dump their own human waste at illegal dumpsites or in open fields”‚ Democratic Alliance (DA) mayoral candidate Athol Trollip said on Thursday. He said incumbent mayor Danny Jordaan had “turned his back on our people who suffer every day with 30000 undignified bucket toilets in Nelson Mandela Bay‚ by ignoring requests to solve this ongoing public health crisis”.
