ANC urges higher education to ease access for successful learners

The results of the 2015 National Senior Certificate (NSC) examinations are “an indisputable demonstration of the resounding success of the African National Congress government's policies to truly open the doors of learning for all”. The ANC’s Zizi Kodwa listed a number of landmarks – “a record 799,306” writing the exams‚ “the highest number ever of passes‚ the highest number ever of distinctions and science passes – before noting “the decline in overall pass percentage this year.
