Public comments invited on IEC commissioner replacement

“Interested persons and organisations” have until February 10 to comment on candidates shortlisted for the vacancy of part-time commissioner on the Independent Electoral Commission. That’s according to Parliament’s Portfolio Committee on Home Affairs‚ which said on Monday that it had noted the announcement last week by the Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng of possible replacements for RaenetteTaljaard‚ who resigned last year.
