Madonsela working on response to Zuma's 'welcome' move to 'pay back the money'

Public protector Thuli Madonsela has welcomed President Jacob Zuma’s willingness to comply with the remedial action she recommended after her probe into the use of public funds improvements to his private home in Nkandla. Madonsela said in a statement on Friday that she and her legal team are discussing various issues that stem from Zuma’s proposal this week to “pay back part of the money”‚ before filing her formal response in the Constitutional Court.
