Jewish Board of Deputies slams ANC heavyweight Jesse Duarte‚ BDS

The South African Jewish Board of Deputies on Monday slammed ANC heavyweight Jessie Duarte and the BDS movement.The board issued a statement accusing the ANC deputy secretary-general of “obsessive hostility towards the State of Israel” after she “aligned herself with a movement that routinely promotes hatred not merely against Israel‚ but against the Jewish community in South Africa” – a reference to the Boycott‚ Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) against Israel movement.
