'People's lives are under threat' in jobs for cash probe: Education Department

The Basic Education department says it is making "proper preparations" before releasing the findings of an investigation into the sale of school principal and teacher jobs because "people's lives are under threat"."Key to the investigation was the protection of witnesses and whistle-blowers hence the involvement of the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development and a forensic team of investigators‚" said Elijah Mhlanga‚ spokesperson for the Department of Basic Education.
