Millions still not registered to vote: IEC

There are at least 8-million eligible voters who are currently not registered to vote in the coming local government elections‚ and 80% of them are younger than 30 years‚ and some first-time voters. This is according to Mosotho Moepya‚ the chief electoral officer‚ who addressed the media in Centurion near Pretoria on Wednesday in a last-ditch effort by the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) to have eligible voters registered this weekend‚ Saturday and Sunday.
