‘ANC needs defending’ inscribed on makeshift machine gun sets tone for youth rally

A group of ANC supporters who arrived outside the party’s Durban headquarters on Saturday morning with a makeshift machine gun emblazoned with the words "ANC needs defending" set the tone for today's youth day rally. Clad in ANC t-shirts and head scarves hundreds danced and sang as they awaited President Jacob Zuma's arrival.
