Maimane claims top ANC officials intimidated father

DA leader Mmusi Maimane has accused the ANC of trying to "intimidate" his family after former president Kgalema Motlanthe visited his father in Dobsonville‚ Soweto at the weekend. Motlanthe and ANC Gauteng chairman Paul Mashatile were on the campaign trail in Johannesburg on Saturday when they reportedly paid a surprise visit to Maimane’s father‚ Simon‚ who used to be an ANC supporter.
