DA irked by poor Madibeng’s offer to pay back the money for Zuma

The Democratic Alliance (DA) wants President Jacob Zuma to provide PoPP – proof of personal payment. The party on Friday demanded that the country’s leader “make a public commitment that he will pay back the R7.8-million he owes for Nkandlagate ‘personally’ ”.“We will also demand that he furnish Parliament with proof‚ in the interest of transparency and accountability‚ that he has in fact done so‚” said Sej Motau‚ the DA’s shadow minister for the Presidency.
