Cop shot and robbed of gun at Athlone voting station

A police officer stationed at a voting station in Athlone‚ Cape Town sustained a gunshot wound‚ police said on Thursday. According to police spokesman Lieutenant-Colonel Andrè Traut ‚ the officer was attacked by four armed suspects and was robbed of his service pistol.
