Choosing Van Rooyen to speak on Gordhan saga 'a terrible choice’ - Mantashe

African National Congress secretary general Gwede Mantashe has lambasted the uMkhonto we Sizwe Military Veterans Association (MKMVA) treasurer-general and local government minister Des van Rooyen for his recent comments relating to issues between Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan and the Hawks. Speaking at the party's National Working Committee media briefing at Luthuli House on Tuesday‚ Mantashe said the MKMVA had made a wrong choice to choose Van Rooyen to speak.
