Tech gremlins add another delay to farcical Tshwane council meeting

Almost eight hours after the Tshwane council meeting was supposed to start‚ not a single item on the agenda had been processed. After a number of false starts‚ including a fracas during which African National Congress councillors threw plastic water bottles at security personnel and tussled with metro police‚ order was partly restored and speaker of council Rachel Mathebe ascended to her chair to proceed with the business of the day.
