National minimum wage shouldn’t compromise employment: Busa

Business Unity South Africa (BUSA) on Tuesday said it will “closely interrogate” the National Economic Development and Labour Council (Nedlac) report on the national minimum wage “in relation to the wage and employment trade-off”. “We will need to consult diligently with members to understand the potential impact of the recommendation on different sectors and types of businesses‚” a statement said.
