DA’s mayoral hopefuls on job creation campaign

While the Democratic Alliance (DA) will on Monday announce its mayoral candidate for Cape Town‚ the Johannesburg and Nelson Mandela Bay hopefuls will be pushing the party’s “job creation” agenda. Johannesburg nominee Herman Mashaba will take the DA’s national labour spokesperson‚ Ian Ollis‚ to the “Randburg labour centre to assess the quality of service delivery and to engage with job seekers”.Athol Trollip‚ who will be visiting a labour centre in central Port Elizabeth‚ said the bay area is “facing an unemployment crisis of critical proportions‚ which requires urgent intervention”.In Cape Town‚ DA leader Mmusi Maimane will announce who out of incumbent Patricia de Lille‚ Guy Andrews‚ Daniel Jacobs‚ Peter Meakin and Ursula Schenker will be the choice for mayor...
