President Jacob Zuma registered to vote on Saturday morning in KwaNxamalala village in Nkandla without any glitches.

He and his wife, Tobeka Madiba Zuma, in matching white outfits, brought their 8-year-old daughter, Nqobile, with them as they arrived at the Ntolwane Primary School around 10:30.

A very relaxed Zuma interacted with locals and greeted journalists before checking his name on the voters' roll.

The couple and their daughter took up their seats in front of the IEC officials, who then ticked off their names.

Zuma moved on to the next station, where the official asked for his address.

Not missing a beat, Zuma quipped: “Do you want to know exactly where I live?”

He then gave his address.

Madiba Zuma handed over her ID and her details were verified too.

The president was in a jovial mood, joking and chatting with his daughter while his details were being checked.

"When are you going to vote?", he asked the young girl, causing everyone to erupt into laughter.
