An interview with Economic Freedom Fighters leader Julius Malema, described as an outspoken revolutionary who is a capitalist, is proving quite popular.

In the interview, Malema says he doesn't feel bitter about his expulsion from the ANC despite having served the party since he was a teenager and climbing up the ranks until he became the leader of the ANC Youth League.

"Everything happens for a reason," he says, adding that the ANC is in self-destruction mode.

Of the interviewer's statement that the EFF's militant rhetoric in Gauteng is unbefitting of a government-in-waiting, Malema says he knows for a fact the ANC rigged elections in Gauteng.

"We know for a fact that they (ANC) lost Johannesburg and Gauteng but we still accepted. They must know that we are not going to do that this year. Part of your revolutionary duty is to fight," he says.
