People have taken to Twitter and Facebook to share their opinions on the presidency budget vote which is currently taking place in Parliament.

Scenes of unruliness have overshadowed the president's budget vote in the National Assembly on Wednesday.

  • WATCH: EFF forcibly removed by Parliament protection services EFF members have been forcibly removed from the National Assembly by Parliament protection services during the President's budget vote.

After the Economic Freedom Fighter's MP Mbuyiseni Ndlozi questioned why President Jacob Zuma was addressing the National Assembly as he was facing 783 corruption charges and the Nkandla debacle - speaker Baleka Mbete dismissed him and this was followed by plain clothed security arriving to remove him and other EFF members.

Twitter has reacted to the saga

On the Times LIVE Facebook page people commented:

Morena: EFF, Ai fok..I give up..Can't you make your voices be heard accordingly and respectfully without stopping to straatmates tendencies?..When will you stop?..Do you enjoy being thrown like thugs out of parliament?..Don't get it twisted, I concur that Zuma is a illegitimate president but your way of voicing it is just wrong..Makes me wonder if it happens that Malema presides in Parliament, what will the state of our parliament be like..

Vutivhi Rikhotso: The ruling party is so threatened by EFF that they will use every opportunity to violently remove EFF. DA which is not a threat to ANC can do same thing or worse but will never be removed like this. And those shameless old people cheering will lose seats next election as we vote to give EFF more seats/voice in parly. Watch as they go back to sleep now that they removed EFF MPs.

MJ Qhali: EFF behave like kids in parliament atleast they must try to maintain order just once as people voted to represent them in that house so what do they achieve when everytime they booted out.

Shawn Mthokosisi: In as much I call EFF my temporal political sanctuary, I fail to comprehend their anarchical behavior as way to air their views. We cannot condone this.
