President Jacob Zuma’s leadership is not a source of inspiration but rather a source of embarrassment‚ says Brand Pretorius‚ former CEO of car company McCarthy. Pretorius was speaking to Business Day on the sidelines of the sixth Annual Ethics Conference under the theme “A Time for Courageous Ethical Leadership” in Illovo‚ Johannesburg‚ on Monday. The conference is being hosted by the Ethics Institute which also released the SA Business Ethics survey. "Our president is not a source of inspiration at all... he is a source of embarrassment‚" he said.Pretorius said this has led to despair and loss of hope for the people of South Africa.But he also warned that leaders in the business sector were also not ethical."Unethical leaders create unethical followers.
