DA wants SIU to probe ‘ANC housing corruption in Seshego’
The “complete inaction by the South African Police Service” has prompted the Democratic Alliance (DA) “to request that the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) in Polokwane investigate African National Congress (ANC) housing corruption in Seshego”. The party’s provincial leader‚ Jacques Smalle‚ said this follows “the illegal eviction of residents in the area to accommodate an ANC councillor's close cronies and friends”.“This corruption steals opportunities from poor South Africans. It is unfair and must be stopped so that all residents can benefit from quality service delivery‚” he said.“The DA is proceeding with this complaint following the complete inaction by the South African Police Service following the laying of criminal charges.
