WATCH: 'You are useless, people are dying here' - Malema loses temper with Tembisa police

Economic Freedom Fighters leader Julius Malema lost his temper at a opolice station in Tembisa after an armed group of men attacked party members during a visit to a nearby hostel on Tuesday.

Earlier Malema and his entourage were met with hostility when he visited Sethokga hostel where two EFF members were killed during election campaigning earlier this year.

They were refused entry into the hostel by a large group of men‚ some of whome were wearing ANC party t-shirts‚ blocked the entrance to the hostel chanting "hambani la‚ asinifuni la" which translates to "go away‚ we don’t want you here".

The group was armed with sticks‚ stones and pangas.

Police officers who encircled the EFF leader to protect him and journalists then fired three warning shots‚ after which the crowd dispersed‚ running into the hostel.

Malema later went to the police station where he lost his temper with the Tembisa cluster commander:
