DA to ‘reveal track record’ of ANC’s Ekurhuleni mayoral hopeful

The Democratic Alliance (DA) is set to dish out discouraging details about the ruling party’s mayoral candidate Ekurhuleni.At Cachalia’s side will be the DA’s shadow minister for trade and industry‚ Geordin Hill-Lewis.The Department of Trade and Industry’s website describes Masina as “an astute politician‚ manager and business executive” whose “career rise has been meteoric and his successes hard-earned”.But a DA statement announcing Cachalia’s Edenvale event on Tuesday said: “Since his appointment as deputy minister of trade and industry…Masina has been a controversial figure and it is unlikely that he will innovate and create the environment needed to get Ekurhuleni moving forward again”.
