Cape Town Mayor Patricia de Lille on Thursday wished Archbishop Desmond Tutu a speedy recovery. This was after the veteran human rights campaigner checked into a Cape Town hospital for a recurring infection - the same bug that kept him in hospital for a week last year. "He is expected to remain in hospital for a week or two. The Archbishop underwent similar treatment last year‚" Tutu’s daughter Thandeka Tutu-Gxashe said. De Lille wished Tutu well on behalf of the City of Cape Town. "We wish him well and trust that he is receiving the best possible care‚" she said in a statement. "We carry the Arch‚ Mama Leah and the Tutu family in our thoughts and prayers during this time."..
