“It is important that the people of South Africa be informed and be aware of the extent of the Guptas’ control of the South African government through their capture of the state.” That is the reason given by the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) for approaching the North Gauteng High Court on Friday morning to oppose Co-operative Governance Minister Des van Rooyen’s application to prevent Public Protector Thuli Madonsela releasing her report.The EFF is joined in the counter-application by the United Democratic Movement and Congress of the People.
