'Forza Horizon' announced for late 2012

Forza Horizon aims to offer something different for fans of the motorsport series, with a more casual, accessible game on the cards this year.
It'll be a relatively quick turnaround for the car racing franchise, with two year gaps between installments having become the norm and Forza Motorsport 4 released in October 2011.
Though the franchise is helmed by Washington State's Turn 10 Studios, Forza Horizon will be the first game from UK start-up Playground Games.
Debut title it may be, but a significant chunk of staff at Playground previously worked at Codemasters ( Dirt, Grid, F1), with others coming from Ubisoft Reflections ( Driver: San Francisco), Bizarre Creations ( Blur, Project Gotham Racing) BlackRock ( Split/Second), Criterion ( Burnout Paradise) and Slightly Mad Studios ( Shift 2), so there's good pedigree within the team.
