Something shiny was noticed while the soil Mars Rover Curiosity was scooping up and examining Martian soil over the weekend
According to Nasa while the rover's first scooping activity appeared to go well, its operators have decided to suspend using its robotic arm just in case the object was a part of the rover.
Instead Curiosity is taking additional images of the object to try and help the rover team identify it, and assess what impact it may have on future sampling activities.
