8ta has announced that it has come out with 150 cabs, which operate across Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban and have free Wi-Fi enabled.

Each of the cabs comes with a router installed, with 8ta's infrustructure being set up to deliver the actual Wi-Fi services.

Connecting to the service while in the cab is as simple as making sure your device is Wi-Fi enabled and "8ta Wi-Fi hotspot" is selected.

All devices that can use Wi-Fi should be able to use the service.

Passengers who are having trouble connecting can call 8ta's customer service line, which can be reached on 180 for 8ta subscribers, or 081 180 for non-subscribers.

The cabs are branded with 8ta's 60GB+60GB offer, and indicate that they are Wi-Fi enabled.
