Nadav Ossendryver, the sixteen-year-old who created the website Latest Sightings at Kruger is organising a relief event for the victims of the last floods there.

The relief appeal will be aimed at getting food, clothing and blankets to those who lost everything in the floods.

The event will take place on  the 1 February 2013 at King David High School Linksfield between 10:00am - 11:00 am. The drop off will be at the top gate of the school.

Dainfern College, Crawford College, Saheti School, Yeshiva College and Torah Academy will also be involved in the appeal.

A convoy of Land Rovers will then set out to deliver the goods to The SANParks Honorary Rangers in Phalaborwa, who will then hand the goods out to those in need.

Details for those who want to donate can be found on the Latest Sightings website. You can also see more pictures of the floods on their Kruger National Park Floods – 2013 forum.
