New AmaZulu signing Siyabonga Nomvethe says it is a win-win situation for him and the club after agreeing to a six-month deal. The KwaMashu-born forward has returned home after almost two decades since he last played for a club from his home province."Bhele", 38, left African Wanderers for Kaizer Chiefs in 1998 and has since played in Italy, Sweden and Denmark.On his return to KwaZulu-Natal, the PSL's all-time leading goalscorer with 119 goals told The Times that he was looking forward to helping the club return to the top flight and being around his loved ones again."It feels good to be home after all the years away. It is good for me, because I can now be closer to my family as well," he said.Nomvethe is expected to play a role that will extend beyond scoring, as coach Steve Barker expects him to guide the club's younger players off the field.The former Bafana striker, with 82 senior caps and 16 goals, is up for the challenge."I have three goals in the first division this season and I want to add more for AmaZulu. I have to work hard to help the club get back to the top and make sure something positive happens during my time with the club."The people here are very excited to have me here and I should also make them happy," Nomvethe vowed.AmaZulu are eighth on the National First Division log with 19 points from 14 matches.Log leaders Baroka FC have 31 points.AmaZulu face Vasco da Gama at home at Princess Magogo Stadium on Sunday...
