Sharks will need Beast's strength - and wisdom

Tendai "Beast" Mtawarira finds himself as one of the old and wise heads in a relatively young Sharks team. They will need the prop's skill and experience against the Lions at Ellis Park tomorrow to keep their Super rugby campaign afloat. In the scrums, Mtawarira will be up against Julian Redelinghuys, a teammate over the past two weeks with the Springboks.Redelinghuys, an accountant, seems equally good at balancing the scrumming ledger. The Sharks will need their tight five to front up in a way they did not on April 9.During the Lions' seemingly effortless 24-9 win at Kings Park, then captain Mtawarira and Coenie Oosthuizen were put through the ringer by Redelinghuys and Dylan Smith."It's going to be a massive challenge for us and we really have to step up in a lot of areas," said Mtawarira."We've been given the underdog tag, so we really have to fight hard and win the inches off the field." ..
