Orlando Pirates grabbed a late equaliser to deny Polokwane City a win in an Absa Premiership clash at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Bucs striker Tendai Ndoro's late goal cancelled out City’s hopes of securing all the three points at home.

The host side enjoyed more ball possession in the start of the second half with Puleng Tlolane breaking  the deadlock with a superb strike from outside the box in the 52nd minute.

City were forced to make an early charge in the first half after Rodney Ramakalela sustained an injury and was replaced by Simphiwe Hlongwane.

The Buccaneers  remain third spot on the table with nine points after five games, equal with SuperSport United and four points behind leaders Kaizer Chiefs and Golden Arrows.
