Health inspectors, accompanied by police, visited Marijana Kovacevic's clinic in Belgrade last week.

They said the pharmacology doctor turned physiotherapist had been practising without a licence.

Kovacevic's reputation as a miracle healer of sports injuries was well known in the English Premier League, with Arsenal's Robin van Persie, and Liverpool's Yossi Benayoun, Albert Riera, Fabio Aurelio and Glen Johnson travelling to Belgrade for treatment this month.
