Warner said on Wednesday after a full workout that he passed the mandated National Football League mental tests following a concussion but plans to be cautious in practice sessions this week so he can play against the Titans.

If all remains well, Warner will make his 42nd consecutive NFL start despite the concussion suffered in a 21-13 triumph at St. Louis, the former home of the Cardinals franchise.

The 38-year-old passer had his helmet slammed into the field by Rams safety O.J. Atogwe in the second quarter but stayed on the field to complete a touchdown drive that gave Arizona a 21-3 lead before leaving the game for good.

Warner completed his precautionary tests on Tuesday.
