Swimmers make it a rich medal haul at the Games

South African swimmers added 11 medals on Monday to the four won by the triathletes at the Africa Games in Maputo.
They captured five gold, three silver and three bronze medals.
Karin Prinsloo won the 100m freestyle and 50m backstroke, in which Mandy Loots won silver. She was also part of the winning women's 4x200m freestyle relay with Rene Warnes, Dominique Dryding and Roxanne Tammadge.
Cameron van der Burgh won the men's 100m breaststroke and Charl Crous took gold in the 50m backstroke, with Garth Tune taking third place in the backstroke.
Cathryn Meaklim took silver behind Zimbabwe's Kirsty Coventry in the 400m individual medley, with Bianca Meyer getting bronze.
Darian Townsend got silver in the men's 200m freestyle behind winner Ahmed Mathlouthi of Tunisia. Jean Basson clinched bronze. On the soccer field, South African women's team Banyana Banyana beat Zimbabwe 4-1 in a Group B match.
