Chad Le Clos makes a splash on his 24th birthday

Birthday boy Chad Le Clos makes waves - literally!Le Clos turned 24 on Tuesday‚ but he had little time to rest with three races on his schedule.He was the fastest in the 200m butterfly heats at King’s Park on Tuesday morning‚ going 2min 00.22sec.Next up were Sebastien Rousseau (2:00.62) and then two 18-year-olds‚ home boy Brendan Levy (2:02.35) and Free Stater Eben Vorster (2:02.53).Vorster‚ winner of his heat which included star Dylan Bosch‚ has raced alongside Le Clos before.“It’s a bonus racing with Chad‚ but he makes big waves‚” he said with a smile.Le Clos‚ who will race in the 200m fly semifinals on Tuesday night‚ is eager to reverse the 200m freestyle defeat he suffered to Myles Brown last year.“I got it wrong last year. This time I want to make no mistake‚” said Le Clos.In other action in the morning‚ Karin Prinsloo and Marlies Ross were quickest in the women’s 200m freestyle and 200m individual medley respectively.– TMG Digital..
