Western Force center Rory Sidey has been banned for three weeks for a dangerous tackle on Odwa Ndugane during Saturday’s 39-12 Super 15 loss to the Sharks.

Sidey was sent off in the 18th minute following the tackle on the Sharks winger.

SANZAR judicial officer Dennis Wheelahan made the ruling after a hearing via telephone conference on Monday.

Sidey did not contest the charge.
