All Blacks World Cup winger Cory Jane says he has re-signed with the Wellington Hurricanes for the next Super 15 rugby season.
Jane announced his decision via a Twitter posting on Friday. He is one of only two All Blacks to stick with the Hurricanes after the sackings of World Cup centre Ma’a Nonu and hooker Andrew Hore.
Nonu has joined the Auckland Blues along with All Blacks scrumhalf Piri Weepu. Former All Blacks props Neemia Tialata and John Schwalger have left to play overseas while flyhalf Aaron Cruden will play for the Waikato Chiefs.
Nonu’s longtime midfield partner Conrad Smith is remaining with the Hurricanes while winger Hosea Gear is considering a move overseas after missing World Cup selection.
